The New Rembrandt
The Dutch Art Television Channel AVRO
started a competition for all artist living in the Netherlands.
From 500 hundred submissions only 100 where invited to the first
selection. Only 20 could continue for the TV show and be selected for the prize.
Artists were invited to produce in less than two days an art work
following a theme that an guest artist had been chosen.
Each time a jury together with the guest artist selected which artist has to leave
and who could go on with the challenge.
The works here are the result of the different matches except
the photo from the series ‘Déjà Vu’ with who I entered the second
selections from 100 to 20 participants.
